Loan Lelo Bhaii loan !!!!

"Hi Sir!,This is Shilpa calling from xxxxx bank. This is regarding a lifetime free credit card. Would you like to go for it sir???"This was something i heard in the middle of a client meeting.. Although the poor girl said the above line, it sounded like.."Hello clown! This is Aishwarya Rai calling from some shitty bank which wants you to shell out some money for nothing by giving you free stuff that you can never claim. Would you be foolish enough to be our customer??" I really fear such calls where girls with lovely names and sexy voices try to give away free credit cards with the same frequency as the rate of increase of bangalores traffic.I really think banks count on the forgetfullness of IT industry. The later you repay, the more they gain isnt it?? Not only credit cards, i dunno why banks are very keen on giving personal loans. I remember those movies where Nirupa Roy used to give her mangalsutra to her husband and said "ise girvi rakh ke kuch paise le aao".How i wish these banks were there in those times so that poor 12 year kids didnt have to steal breads/medicines and later become the Mumbai dons. The ultimate comedy was when a bank which financed my bike gave me an offer to provide a small personal loan to to clear off my remaining bike loan amount !!!! A loan to clear a loan??? i mean... how could somebody even think this is possible?? One more... When i said i dont want any loan, they had the heart to ask me why dont i need a loan? for a moment, i thought i might have sounded to her like a person badly needing a loan else will either die of starvation or would have to steal medicines to save his daadima... the gal could not even see me and even if she saw me, i look as if i am from a "khaata piita ghar" and not as i just reached here from somalia and need some money to get back my state of health. I wonder how important a loan is... Is it so important that i have to explain to people why i dont need one??i think i will ask this to the next person who calls me for a loan or credit card(that will probably be tomorrow if i am lucky)... If any of you guys have any answer, please let me know...
